My period is late and I've taken a pregnatcy test and it was negative. Last night while me and my husband were having sex I started bleeding and thought my period had finally came but the bleeding lasted about 5 min and it was done. I'm confused and don't know what that was. Please help

I'm no medical professional, and have no information on vaginal bleeding. I know it is fairly common for women to have irregular periods, or a late period. Try another test. The urine pregnancy test checks for the presence of HCG, a hormone secreted during pregnancy. Typically the HCG levels will increase 85% every 48 hours, so give it a few days. I doubt you lost enough blood to cause anemia if the bleeding stopped after 5 minutes. Use common sense and if you feel the need, seek the medical advice of a professional. Hope this helps.

How late is your period, you can not test till it is at least 10 days and 14 is better, days is better.

So if you are two weeks late, then it is time to test.

You need to use the first urnine of the morning for best results
