    5 Panel Screen W/ETH, is that the same as ETG?
    Good afternoon,
    I was called in randomly this morning for a Drug Urine analysis. I had a few beers Monday evening.

    When looking at the test to be performed, it has a check beside "5 PANEL W/ETH".

    My test was only $24.50. It is being performed by Alere Toxicology Services. This is for asap.

    Is this the 80 EtG test or is this strictly enthanol? From my research it looks as if ETG tests are more expensive than that. THoughts?

    No, this is not the EtG test. The will test for current ethanol in your system. This test is usually looking for illegal drugs and usually includes THC (marijuana), Cocaine (Crack), Methamphetamine (Ecstasy), Amphetamine, Opiates (Morphine).

    ETH or better written EtOH, ethanol, ethyl alcohol, drinking alcohol, etc... EtG tests cost significantly more than $24.50 too.
