    I think I have depression but I don't know
I am a young girl and have been sad for quite a while now. I am 12 years old and am happy and bubbly at school but as soon as I get home I sit in my room and only come out for food or the toilet. I am quite an angry and moody person and argue with my mum and dad a lot and have quite low self-confidence. I listen to sad songs and think of sad things and I find myself crying sometimes, even if I'm at school in class. Do I have depression or not?

Depression is a medical condition, diagnosed by and treated by Physicians (for the most part). Does your school have a Nurse or Social Worker who would talk to you in confidence?
