Hi, I'm a gay male. I let a guy rim me exactly 24days ago. A little over a week ago I developed something as small as a dime on my buttock, I can't see it though. It doesn't burn or itch, in fact I can't tell it's there unless I wash to hard with my towel. My question is, if this was a primary herpes breakout or rash, would it most definitely be painful or could I get the rash and not even feel it??

Hi, well you should relax knowing it is not sounding at all like herpes. While the herpes virus is highly contagious sexually your symptoms do not sound like you have contracted it. Fitst of all, herpes initial lesions are quite small. They appear as one small chancre, (very itchy) and develop into a colony of lesions that resemble fever blisters. Some individuals will develop a mild fever and a general tired and achy feeling accompanying the outbreak.
