I'm trying to remember the name of this super weird samurai/ ninja movie that came out a few years ago (3 or 4 - though I seem to remember that it was an older movie that may have just been released at that time) it was subtitled and the film had something to do with a mountain and all these opposing entities/ opponents- each had some kind on weird magical aspect to them- I think one fought with hair, one was part animal (Sharpened teeth, claw like hands) each had some sort of mystical aspect - there were a few more as well--- any idea what movie this might be? Its been driving me nuts- been searching for days!. (!)

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

I did come across this film under the title of Zu Warriors and am def' going to see it- looks amazing!
-Sadly it isn't the film I'm referring too though.

-Drumming more details, and these are a memory reach so are un-clear and un-certain- I suppose it could possibly be a Chinese film? (Though I seem to remember it being Japanese) it was very lush and green (much like parts of Crouching Tiger), took place mostly in a Forrest on a mountain (?) there was a man and woman (?) kind of hiding/ camping out within attempts to overthrow something (fortress?) on the mountain (?) I remember an impossible court yard fight scene that possibly had something to do with one of the characters fighting with their hair... (?)... and many arrows... someone had actually recommended this film to me as well but I also can't remember who!
