2005 Honda CRV diagnostics - low engine oil
I have a chronic leak in engine oil for months, I keep toping up with oil. Now the vehicle is overheating, could the oil leak have caused the engine to be overheating ?

It's possible, but they may not be related. Where is the oil leaking from? Now that the car is overheating, I would tow it to Honda for repair. Overheating is very serious on aluminum head engines, which can warp the head, blow the head gasket, and damage the valves. If this has already happened, repairs can run $3,500+.
