    What is a good brand of converter box for analog TV
    I have to buy a converter box for my Panasonic analog TV. I was looking at Amazon.com and there are all sorts of converter boxes.
    What is a good brand or does it really matter?
    Can analog TV with the help of a converter box subscribe to Dish or Direct TV?

    Thanks for any help you can give me.

    THey all work about the same... and for not a lot more than twice that price you can get a proper HDTV that looks 1,000% better than an analog TV does.

    You can do that but in my opinion... for the relatively small amount you can get a 32" TV for that would be money better spent.
