Hello,

I have a question, I had intercourse right around the time of ovulation. In hopes that I could be pregnant I took tests before it was even time, all negative. I got what I thought was my period a day late, and it is very abnormal, it is really light and bright pinkish color instead of the dark red that it normally is. Could this be implantation bleeding or is it just a weird period? Any help would greatly help.

There are several other factors that have to be considered here. Age, kinds of birth control(now, or in the past) how early you took the test, how long the bleeding lasted, do you know exactly when you ovulate, life changes(stress)etc. Sometimes its normal to miss, have short or abnormal periods. Or it could be implantation. I'm afraid all you can do is wait and take another test after you are one week late. If you still get negatives, but still have no period, it would be a good time to see your doctor and/or get a blood test done. Good luck
