    How do you housebreak a puppy when you work all day every day?

    I advise against getting a young puppy if you have no way of giving it a mid day break. All day is even too long for an older dog. If you can't make it back at lunch time, try to find a neighbor or professional dog walker. The best solution for an older dog is doggy day care.
