    Family home insurance
    I received 2&3rd degree burns trying to put out a grease fire. Can I sue my family home insurance for medical expenses.

    Your home? In US normally the owner insured is nnot covered some policy may have option you pay rxtra for,
    Also who started fire

    My sister contacted them but they said because I was a guest their temporiarly, I was not covered.

    No one started the fire. The kids and I was upstairs. When I came down the oven had malfunction and heated some grease my sister left in the oven. It's the electric ovens. We called the fire department, but the flames was getting worse.

    If you were a guest, then you should have been covered under her liability coverage. So, yes, you may have to sue them to recover your costs.
