Painting Identification Help
Hi All,
I am trying to get some information on this painting. I bought it 20 years ago at a yard sale, and fought with 3 others to get it, simply because I loved it (I was only 19 and thought it was a print). I have now come to realize that this is indeed a painting (it looks like canvas possibly on cardboard? ) Over the years, I have had several different people ask if I wanted to sell it, and I always said no. Can anyone shed any light onto the era, artist, etc. Thanks in advance :-) |

A friend of mine was wondering who painted this, when it was painted, and if it has a title.
Attached are three pictures of a painting that my grandfather passed down to my mom at somepoint. We really do not know a lot about it but I have included a picture of the painting as well as two attempts to take a picture of the signature. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, I would like to identify the painting I'm sending as an attachement. I gess that is an oil by a french painter of the beginning of the 20th century who may have bee close to the Nabis or more probably to the Fauves, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance Rebalthus
