New Kitchen Faucet Does Not Cut Water Off
My husband replaced a kitchen faucet that was leaking with a new one of similar design. When he tested the new faucet it did not cut the water flow off completely when in the off position. He thought that the faucet was faulty so he took it out, returned it, and bought another one. When he installed this new faucet it is doing the same thing. Is this normal? What is he doing wrong? Why won't the faucet shut off the water completely when turned in the off position. The water continues to flow, drip, and then stop. What is wrong or is this OK? C. Franklin

Can you show us a pic of the faucet? Or merely a make and model. How long does it flow, drip, and then shutoff after the handle is turned to the off position?
