Not to be rude... But I absoultely do not believe you are a nurse considering I seem to know more about this than you...
You can determine paternity if the partners are at least 10 days apart. Which they were..
Idk why I asked this on here.. Other places have given me more info.
    Thanks.

Actually I am a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse.

I would like to see where you got your info because it is incorrect.

Women do not ovulate on exactly the same day every month. Sperm can live in a woman's body for 3-5 days before actually impregnating a woman.

Yeah but my periods are like clockwork and come at the end of every month.
A nurse told me ultrasounds are most accurate before 12 weeks and I had 2 done that gave me the same due date.
My due date would have been later in march if I conceived around the 17th. Ultrasounds can only be up to 5/7 days off that early.
More than one person has told me this. So I don't know where you're getting your info from?

That nurse is correct. The early ultrasounds are the most accurate when it comes to dating.

However, even though your period might come like clockwork, ovulation does not always work the same way. Note that I said always.

Ultrasounds can be off as much as two weeks, even that early.

I'll try to explain it the way the OB I work for explains it to his patients...

"Unless there is a camera in your fallopian tubes we don't have any idea exactly when you conceived as we can't see exactly when the sperm met the egg. All of obstetrics is a guessing game based on educated scientific formulas. All dating whether it be by LMP or ultrasound can be off as much as 2 weeks either way."

I myself have delivered babies at 36 weeks gestation who have turned out to be full term babies as justified by something called a Dubowitz Score. I have also delivered full term babies (37 weeks and above) that would have a Dubowitz Score of a 34 week gestational baby.

Look, I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer on you. It's just that you have to face reality in that there is a possibility, no matter how remote, that either man could be the father.

Another little known fact, did you know that twins could come from two different fathers?

    Even if that is true...
There is only a 4-27 percent chance of pregnancy during ovulation. And the second man didn't even ejaculate. Which makes these percentages of it being him even lower..
Also when I went to have my 20 week ultrasound (even though these are much less accurate) the baby stayed the same and they kept my due date.

Well, it seems we are never going to convince you to have a DNA test to ease your mind. I suppose you will go on worrying about it forever then.

One more thing. You do realize that there is sperm in pre-ejaculate right? That means a man does not have to come to orgasm to get a girl pregnant.

I never said it's not impossible. Just based off what I know it's highly unlikely. But yes I've read pre-ejaculate can carry sperm but doesn't necessarily have sperm in it... If I didn't know this, I probably wouldn't be asking lol...

So you agree it can be either man, and you don't know, high percent does not mean it is one person, even one percent means it is a chance to be the other person.

Your attempt to deny this will not change the fact you will need a DNA test to know for sure.

Your facts are wrong, and only done to try to prove who you want as a father.

Exactly where did you get this very WRONG information from? You did after all managed to get pregnant and don't know who the father is... proof you don't know what you think you know.

Well based off everyone else this is 20 people against you. I simply wanted more answers but I think you may be wrong. Yes one percent means possible otherwise I wouldn't be asking.
