    Spay incision
    Hi, we just adopted a dog about 3 weeks ago. Before we got her she was spayed. The incision was healing nicely. However I just recently notice this little bump under her skin. Has anyone seen this before? I'm a new dog owner so I'm trying to figure out what's normal for dogs and what is not. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    It's the suture that is meant to go under the skin. It will disolve on its own. It usually takes anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks to disolve.

    Just keep an eye on it. If it doesn't disappear or seem like its getting smaller, take her into the vet to be looked at
