    Oral Contraceptive
Can oral contraceptive make my girlfriend not able to get pregnant once we get married? She's using oral contraceptives now.. Is pills applicable to woman who did not yet get pregnant? Will it be a cause to get not pregnant when we decided to have a baby?

I'm worrying if she'll get 'infertile ' for that. Sorry bad english.

    Thanks.

No once she stops taking them, they lose their effect.

Also even taking them they are not 100 percent effective, she can still get pregnant even taking them, they just reduce the chances.

So if there is no other reason, merely taking birth control has no effect after she stops taking them

Chuck is correct. Oral contracrptives only provide temporary protection while she is taking them. The protection from pregnancy stops oncecshe stops taking them. Let me warn you though, it is still possible to get pregnant while on the pill.

Thanks for the information. It is very helpful!

It is not a problem that she get pregnant now.. we had a plan to get married after a few years. Right now we are preparing for the future by earning some money while helping to our parents that is the custom here in the Philippines. Once we get stable we are planning to get married. So if the blessing comes early, so it is. No regrets :) we love each other

Thanks for the response guys.. I'm relieved now that I know that we can still have a baby.

    Thanks. Have a blessed day.
