    Heartbroke
Me and my girlfriend has been dating for 5 moths now. I just turned 18 the other day and she is 14. Her and her parents never minded us dating but my dad told me to break up with her. I didn't but I told her what he said and she got mad and broke up with me. We are still friends, and our relationship we great. Yes we had our fair share of fights but we always got over it in the end. This was the best girlfriend I ever had and she is really mature for her age. We also had so many great times together too. I really want her back.

You are too old to be dating a 14 year old. Your father was right.

Your father knows that the day you turn 18 you are an adult and can be charged with statutory rape whether you had sex or not, whether it was consensual or not if you did have it, or you can be charged with other crimes, such as endangerment to a minor, simply by being somewhere with her where something goes wrong.
