    Divorce!
Hi I'm in trouble. I find myself wanting to divorce my Tunisian husband as he seems to only want to work and send money back to Tunisian family. He's so moody and went 3 months ago back to Tunisia and said he can't get back. I feel so stupid. He's got a right to remain visa. Can I get that taken off him if we were separated? I am worried he will take our son 2 years old.

You say he said he can't get back, so what is stopping you from getting a divorce? He can't just take the child out of England without permission from you. Are you afraid to file for divorce? You can't just get him deported without a reason.

Sounds like you need a local English lawyer to advise and guide you through the process.

If you don't have any money, there's no law that requires a lawyer. You can borrow divorce papers and copy them, but you do have a child and want to do it right. Hiring a lawyer would be best. You could also go talk to immigration.
I don't think you need to worry too much about him being able to take your son in the divorce. It sounds like he isn't even going to fight you anyway.

This site may be able to give you the basic information about divorcing in the UK.: https://www.gov.uk/divorce.

I highly suggest you consult a lawyer who is versed in divorces where one party is non-citizen/resident of the UK and find out exactly what your rights, responsibilities and options are.
