    Texas Title Need for Classic Car
    I bought a 1968 mustang and received a Bill of Sale. The car had no title and Texas is not a bill of Sale State. I have a Vin # for the car which shows abandoned and junked on 07/06/2004. It also says Government title # La Porte. I bought the car in pieces and have pieced it back together. I tried to get the vin cleared but am having trouble, What can I do? The funny thing is I bought it from a police officer who told me I could get a title.:D

    I assume you live in TX and your having trouble TX Dept of Motor Vehicles or whatever dept in TX handles issuing titles if it's a title you are seeking? You just have to follow TX DMV's rules but tell me if you can more of the 'troubles" you are having.
