No water coming from kitchen faucet
There is no water coming from the kitchen faucet or sprayer. The water is turned on and we ( hubby) disconnected the hose under the sink and turned water on and nothing.

Hose under the sink! Lots of stuff down there. What did hubby disconnect? The sprayer hose? The DW discharge hose? The supplies? What? Is that all he checked?
Now tell me about your faucet. One handle or two knobs? How old is it? Any plumbing work done lately?
It sounds as though the faucets cartridge picked up some debris and now it's clogged.
Try this. Shut the water off and pull the cartridge, Check the inlet ports for trash and clean. Now place a pan over the open valve and turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supply. You should have a strong stream when doing so. Reassemble and test. If that works do it on all affected taps, good luck, Tom

Cleaned the aerator in the faucet (only a few grains of calcium buildup), checked the inlet lines and tested the flow at the shutoff valves, no pressure at the shutoff valves under the sink. The problem doesn't appear to be with the faucet itself but with both the hot and cold lines somewhere between the main shutoff/water heater and the kitchen sink. Every other faucet in the house runs fine and we haven't had any plumbing done in the month and a half since we moved in.

No pressure from either angle stop? Try this, Shut the water off at the house stop and unscrew the bonnet packing nut, (see image) and back the stem and washer assemble out counter clockwise. Out of the cold water angle stop. Now hold a pan over the open valve and have someone turn on the water for a few seconds. You should be getting a full stream. If you have a full stream reassemble the CW stop and do the same thing to the hot side. If you don't get a full stream then click on back and tell me, Good luck, Tom

Any chance your water lines are frozen? It is that time of year in many areas..
