    Physics problem solver online
    A runaway truck is moving at 40 m/s when it encounters a ramp inclined at 30 % above the horizontal. Gravel provides a frictional force to slow the truck and has a coefficient of friction of .5. How far along the ramp will it go before coming to a stop?

    I suggest you apply energy principals here - set the initial KE of the truck equal to the work performed by friction as it moves through the gravel plus the increase in potential energy as it ascends the ramp.
