    1999 honda accord ex v6 it was raining out now my car won't start
    I go to start my car after light rain last night and I had a light on in the car for 30 seconds {brand new battery} when I went to start all lights shut and no power what so ever to the car.. I went to start it this morning and now the lights will come on but the car won't turn over at all... any ideas?

    Clean the battery ccable connectors a d posts, make sure they are tight. Make sure battery is fully charged.

    . Remove and fully charge the battery, which most auto parts stores will do for free.

    . Examine battery cables for internal corrosion and breaks.

    . Clean battery terminals and cable connections, including where the negative cable attaches to the car's body. Afterwards, apply dielectric grease. Ditto for the cables going to the starter motor (disconnect negative. Battery cable first).

    . Ensure all connections are tight.
