I really like this guy that is pretty new to my school. He's really nice to me and I feel we've gotten to know each other. My friend thinks that he likes me, and I really like him. I have never wanted to tell someone that I liked them even if I did because I fear rejection. I didn't mind admiring somebody from a far. I really like him and I really want to tell him. I'm planning to tell him on the last day of school or before the next break. But I can't choose a method. Letter? Call? I don't want to embarrass myself, what should I do?

If he does like you, I'm betting he's 100 times more nervous than you are!

At worst, if you're good friends, he'll tell you he just wants to be friends, and you'll have lost nothing!

Just say what you feel is right, when you feel it's right!

I mean I know things can't get that bad, but, we sit near each other in classes and it could get really awkward during group projects. (and his best friend likes me, so what if there's resentment?)

I wouldn't say "go tell him right away", but better get to know him! Talk to him as you'd talk to a casual new friend, be closer to him, show a little bit of interest somehow... See how he responds.

I think u should just tell him that u like him and see how it goes from there. It will be up to him after that to make the move.

If you are afraid to tell him for fear of rejection or whatever else... just start flirting with him. Be playful, laugh, touch him on the shoulder, look into his eyes when he talks to you, sit next to him... all these things will tell him that you are interested without actually having to tell him.

I really think you should just tell him face-to-face, but since you most likely won't take that advice, stick to what I said above ;) good luck

Look I know how you feel I'm facing the same thing right now!! But I've ruled out telling him the last day of school! You might not see him all summer. But if you don't want to tell him face to face wright a note. Decorate it. Give it to him. Remember the worst thing he can say is let's just be friends!!

Confidence is the key.. guys love it.. just don't be shy (I know its hard to put yourself out there), but sometimes you just got to do it! And if he isn't interested, who cares. At least you know that you tried and you don't have to waste your time on him anymore.
