    Fan keeps turning off.
I just bought an Aloha breeze ceiling fan and instaled it for the first time. I did it myself to save money. I was trying to go by the instructions but got confused with the remote. That's when I saw the helpful tip from this site. Anyway I finished installing it, but after awhile of running the fan, it would make a soft hume sound and turn of by itself. I don't know why its doing this? Please send me info on how to fix the problem. I have the speed on low but it keepes doining this.

Try changing the frequency of the remote and receiver, something may be interfering.

I was reading the answer when I heard the humming again, looking at the TV and I can see lines. then the fan turns off. Now the fan will not turn on at all. The lights work fine. Ithink it has to do with the wireing. But not sure. It's an old house. The ceiling has a black wire, white wire, and a ground on a screw. I connected the red remote wire to the black ceiling, the white remote wire to the white ceiling, the black remote to the black fan, white remote to white fan, blue remote to blue fan, green fan to green hanger , green hanger to other screw on the other side of ceiling ground. That's what I understood to be right. Also I notticed before fan stopped working was that it was wobbling. More with the higher speeds. Please let me now if I have it hooked up correctly and haw to make it work .

The TV interference sounds like a bad connection. Check all your connections and ba;ance your blades. Sounds like it is wired OK.

And Aloha Breeze are JUNK fans.
