My husband has two children with different women one we know for sure is his the other not so sure, he was not aware of the little girl until she was 6 when the mother asked him to sign his parental rights away which he did. There has been no DNA test or anything to prove that she is his. His family keeps pushing her to us for us to communicate with her but sadly we do not feel anything for her.I feel if she really wanted my husband to be in her daughters life she should have told him about the pregency and not made him sign his rights away... We just had a daughter and this issue is really bothering me to the point where I don't want to have anymore kids with him or even be with him at all. It's so hard and frustrating not to mention his sons mom is one of those type of people that live of the gov and child support, ( has 4 kids from diff ppl) and is always trying to find a way of getting more money out of us, I've had to put restraining order on her for jumping me. Help someone

I wonder what he really signed because you can't sign away your parental rights... only a court can take then away. And the only other way is through adoption.. and the court is involved there too.

I would demand a DNA test if any woman can up claiming a kid was mine. You can argue anything but the results of a DNA test. Assuming you don't have an identical evil Identical Twin.

Not in the USA...

Unless you are talking about custody which is a completely different thing.

Have you seen this document? Where you in court? As smoothy said, it is not that easy. And, if he is required to pay child support its even less likely. He may have given her full custody, but I doubt if he signed his rights away. If you are relying on what he told you, then it is likely he's not telling the whole story.

What I'm unclear is what help you want. Your husband is this little girl's father. She is entitled to know her father and he has an obligation to support her and a moral responsibility to provide a father figure.
