    Tax refund and rehabilitation on student loan
    If I have a 3948 student loan and the interest on it is only 307.00 I've only made two Payments so far they didn't garnish my tax return last year but I wanted to know if they will garnish my tax return this year and if they do will I receive something in the mail prior to filing or after I file I know a lot of questions but any help is appreciated... thank you very much..

    If you owe a LOT on your student loan and you are considered to be in default, then they WILL take your tax refund and AFTERWARDS send you a notice as to why they took it.
