    Dryer Vent Hose
I wonder when you buy the vent hose kit for the dryer. Since it either goes outside
Or into a utility room. Is there some kind of cap on the end. To prevent lizards
Or small bugs entering the system?

Lowe's for one. Have you researched the proper types of pipe to use? Dryer vents are a common cause of house fires. A properly operating vent outlet cover should keep lizards out. I hope it is going outside and not into the utility room if any way possible.

Do not vent the dryer into the room, only outside. Venting inside can cause high humidity, high heat and Carbon Monoxide ! All kits come with a cap, some better than others.

Thanks The previous owner of the house had the dryer venting into the utility room
Where the water heater is located. The bay that stores the dryer has been covered over with press board over the cement block underneath. To the left of the bay is the outside. I would have to break a hole in block wall for the vent
    Hose.

You would be best to cut a hole through the blocks. This should be an easy task if the block you choose is not filled with cement like at the corners and at a window edge or below it. These may be poured with cement. Make sure the dryer is clean before you install it. It's much better to clean it and replace the belt if it's over two years old along with greasing it with white lithium grease. Keep the vent as straight and short as possible. It's also best to put in a straight piece of vent on the rear or side of dryer to the cap. You need to clean the screen often because it will stop up with dirt.

That sounds good. The home depot was telling me they make indoor dryer vent kit for electric dryers only for apartments and condominiums, basements

It's best to not use that corrugated duct work because it collects dirt and lint very rapidly, whereas a straight smooth piece of duct will not collect dirt very fast, but any screws will also collect dirt. You are supposed to snap it together and use foil tape to seal it up. If you can come out the side of the dryer where there is a knock-out to put the hose on the side it is much easier to install the dryer if you have room.

Yes it is about 2 feet straight ahead into the utility room. There is where the previous owner
Had the vent. To put it outside beside breaking a hole in the house, it also would have a elbow
    Joint besides
