    How do I get full custody for my son
    I was with someone for three years, never married we have a two and a half year old son together. About a year ago I had to move back into my parents house due to losing my job. We decided to live with our separate families, which I'm pretty sure she was doing drugs because her whole family does and she said it is best for our son to stay with me. We always fought about that and she eventually left me for another guy and kept our son with me. She says she is moving out of town. I don't have full custody yet but I do have a open ORS case. I was thinking of getting full custody. Would I have a better chance to get the full custody over her? And does she have a right just to take him before I try to get full custody.

    Are you on the birth certificate or haven anything legal indicating you are the legal father? If so, you have equal rights and she can keep the child if she has him. So I would not let her be alone with him until custody is established in court.

    Since you are currently the custodial parent, you have a good chance of remaining so unless she can prove you unfit.

    As for the drug stuff, unless you have concrete proof of it, I wouldn't bring it up.
