Trane ycc030f1m0bb that has an LED warning of "flame rollout switch (FL) open"
I have a Trane ycc030f1m0bb that has an LED warning of 6 flashes, and it means "flame rollout switch (FL) open" I have checked the flame valve that open and closes it (ON/OFF) and I do it either way and after resetting the AC, it turns back on but the 6 flash happens again, the blower kicks on and I guess after is doesn't sense heat it turns back off, I wonder if it's a board issue or a sensor issue or just maybe a cable connection issue, I know there's gas because y gas stove is working and I'm good on that bill, I did just fix a Heat Exchange issue. But not sure why is not working.
    Thank You
    Jaime

What was the heat exchanger issue? A bad heat exchanger will cause the flame rollot switch to trip. The flame rollout switch should be located near the burner area and should have a small button in between two wires that can be pushed to reset. Many times there will be two or three flame rollout switches. However, if you do find the switch and reset it and it trips again, it is time to have a tech in to diagnose the system. A flame rollout switch is a very very important safey device. When it trips you need to take it very seriously and have the system checked. It is there merely to keep you safe and alive, or at least to keep your dwelling from burning to the ground. Please let me know what you find and I will try to help the best I can through this keyboard.

I looked for any kind of switch or reset button but nothing I even took a video but I'll upload it tonight and post the link and show you what it looks like. I only found the gas on and off near the burners and cables but no buttons.

Sorry I haven't been back. Please let me know what you find. I was having a hard time seeing your actuall roll-out switch in the video. Looks like they may be on both sides of the burner assembly. Good luck.
