    Foreclosure disclosures
I am in the process of purchashing a condo foreclosure in Maryland. I just got my condo documents and there is an unpaid special assessment from 2003 that the bank (seller) failed to disclose to me in the resale addendum. If I knew about this special assessment I would have never proceeded with this deal and I am going to walk away. I paid $175 for inspection and $150 for dewinterization of the unit. Could I ask to be reimbursed by the seller for these since they failed to disclose information to me in the resale addendum?

You may ask, the inspection fee is normally your risk and often done prior to all disclosure.

I would ask why you had the other work done prior to a closing.

But it is fair to ask for it back.
