    How do I fix damage done to a maple tree by a large woodpecker? Where do I buy tree wound dressing?

    You don't. Tree will seal wounds itself. Any dressing you apply will make it worse. Make sure tree is well-fed and watered at appropriate times of year.

    Be more concerned that woodpeckers are finding grubs/borers below bark.
