    Imaginary friend?
When I was in preschool I had a best friend named mckenzie , I have little memory's of what she looked like ; short blonde hair and blue eyes ; and of playing on the play ground everyday and going to her birthday party. Since the age of 3-4 I have had a imaginary friend and named her mckenzie and I can remember knowing she was the girl from preschool. When I was about 5 I remember laying in bed and looking over and seeing a girl my size standing next to me with blonde hair but instead her eyes were black and white swirls. I stared for a minute and screamed and remember running out of my room. Fast forward to when I was 8 she appeared in my dream again and then time she was trying to choke me.. and it was funny because we were at my exact location in each dream. As I got older she became just a part of my head like sort of a self conscious thing. Instead of talking to myself I would talk to her for advice in my mind. Recently she came up in a conversation between me and my mother and she told me there was no girl named mckenzie in my preschool class and she has always been just imaginary friend. I began trying to explain seeing her , playing on the play ground , and going to her birthday party. She told me there was never a girl named mckenzie and that it never happened. Could I have a ghost or something following me my whole life or am I crazy? This seems weird but all my memory's were 100% real and remembered easily.

It sounds like McKenzie was always your imaginary friend and not a real person. Since I was 2 or 3, I've had a similar imaginary friend named AngelWolf, a big grey wolf who wore a long white angel robe. AngelWolf and I played church (my dad was a minister) and sang hymns with my dollies and sometimes I let AngelWolf give the sermon. He and I still hang out, but don't tell anyone.

On the other hand, your mother could be wrong. My father forgets things that happened. We used to work at the same place years ago and there was a guy that worked there who my father hated... I recently met this guy again and then mentioned him to my dad... he had no idea who I was talking about.

Like odinn said, your mother could have forgotten real-life MaKenzie. And possibly you decided to name your imaginary friend after your pre-K friend.

So its perfectly OK that as I got older I still talked to her and that it is possible that it may all just be dreams?

You may have really had a friend named McKenzie early on and since you liked her, you made up an imaginary friend version of her. It is possible you later saw her in dreams.
