Antifreeze for 2001 chrysler town and country
Last summer the water in my radiator turned to a reddish - brown sludge with the consistancy of room temp butter - thick. I was told this was caused by a mixture of different antifreeze products. We flushed and flushed and got it all clean. Clear water. Now, two weeks ago while doing maintenance guess what? The sludge is back. What is causing this? Is there a special type antifreeze necessary for a 2001 town & county chrysler?

    Thanks,

. Refill with a 50/50 mixture of G-05 antifreeze and distilled water, after flushing the system again. Open both drain plugs on the block, if you can.

. Install one or more grounding straps to the radiator. Current from the alternator may be flowing through the antifreeze and zapping it.
