It's more likely you've allowed minerals to build up in your heater without flushing them out and now the crud's got into your hot water system where it's now clogging the inlet ports of your cartridges. To check this shut the water off to a single handled tap and pull the cartridge. Check and clean the inlet ports. Now place a pan over the open tap and turn the hot water supply back on for a few seconds. You should have a strong stream Get back to me with the results. Good luck. Tom

You've done what? I asked for the results. Did you take apart the tap and flush the hot water supply? Did you get a strong stream, Please answer my questions. I can't help if you don't.
Sorry! They don't make a magic potion that will clear your pipes. But even if there were such a product it would do no good unless you begin a maintenance schedule on your heater. Let me show you how.

For long life and fewer troubles you should keep your heater clear of mineral build-up by FLUSHING NOT DRAINING on a regular schedule.

Attach a hose to the boiler drain at the bottom of the tank. With the pressure on, open the boiler drain and let it run until the water runs clear. You will see a spurt of red,(rust) followed by white or yellow grains,(lime or calcium carbonate). This shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

Do this monthly to keep it clear. Now flush out your hot water lines on ALL fixtures that are affected . Now pull each aerator and clean the screens. Be sure you put them back together the same way you took them out. Don't forget to flush it out every month. Your heater will thank you for it. Hope this helps and thank you for rating my answer,

    Tom
