    New TV
    Hi there,everyone.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
I did my shopping for the black Friday at Walmart Online and got a new TV.
It is a 32 inch flat screen. LCD HD. Made by RCA.
It seems nice and now to my problem:

When I turn it on, it tries and then just shuts down. The power is still on,but nothing on the screen. I think maybe it is the V-chip.

Have any of you had this happen and if so,what can I do about it? Thank you

Call RCA tech support or return it to the store.

    Thanks,Scott.
I was hoping for something else.
I have already thought of that.
Maybe someone else will have an idea of the problem.

    Thanks again for you advise.

Obviously you have it hooked up correctly... right? If not, hook it up correctly.

If so, Scott has the right answer and I don't know what else you're looking for.

I was hoping for someone who had this problem before and knew how to over-ride my V-Chip.
I will respone when I find the answer to the problem. Thanks

What makes you think it is a problem with the V-Chip? Even if it is... you just bought it, should there be a problem with it?

The problem is that all these manufacturers use different menu systems. Not only for there models, but even within model lines. So without knowing the exact model and having access to the manual for the unit, there is no way to advise.

The tech support people will have that info and be able to walk you through the process.
