    Signal lamp is very fast on the dash.
    My 2000 Explorer signal lamp is blinking fast indicating a burned out light bulb. How do I remove the tail; light.

    Is the bulb out? Although I have not done an explorer, almost every rear mounted light like that is held in place with 2-3 screws hidden behind a flat cover plate. Open the tailgate and look for small flat plugs with a tiny groove. Use a screwdriver to remove the plug.
