    Why does my belly button hurt after cleaning it?
    Okay, I got it done in July by a professional and it was cleaned by me every single day for about maybe a couple of months, then school came and I started cleaning it once a week. But it gets very sore usually like in school, plus lots of things keeps getting gunk on it, it hurts every time I clean it and I have no idea if it is getting infected or like health by design I clean it with dial soap (liquid) and place a saline solution on it. I must say I do not understand why it gets so dry frequently and hurts so bad. Assist.

    You may have an infection that is not clearing up, and should see a doctor.
