    I have a recep. That don't work
    Bad recep. No voltage between black &white but 120v between black & ground what is wrong

    Sorry, crystal ball is in the shop. You'll have to help us out a bit with some more details.

    Do you have a tester?
    Did you test anything?
    Receptacles rarely go bad by themselves, it's usually a splice or connection.

    Sounds like an open neutral, since you have 120 volt across hot and ground but not across hot and neutral.

    Need to find where the white neutral conducotr is open, broken, loose connection.
