    Oil Fired Hot Water Heater
Hello, I'm new to oil heat and oil fired hot water. We just got our first oil delivery and had our Bock 32E hot water heater turned on for the first time. I noticed about an hour later that hot water was flowing into the drain from the T/P Valve while the burner was active. About five to ten minutes later, the burner would turn off, however, water would still flow from the T/P valve. After a few more minutes, the burner would kick back in again and run for a while then shut off, all the while hot water would be releasing from the T/P Valve while cold water continued to fill the tank. I turned the hot water heater off, the tank completely filled with water and finally the T/P valve stopped pouring out water. Is this normal for an Oil fired hot water heater? Will I constantly be burning through my oil supply because of this? Also, the water temperature is about 160, is that normal for an oil fired water heater? Shouldn't the temp be 120 for normal domestic use? Also, how in the world do you adjust the water temperature on one of these oil fired hot water heaters? I'm sorry if these sound like idiotic questions, I'm totally new to oil heat and hot water systems.
