I have an older carrier furnace when the thermostat calls for heat the pilot flame lights up and stays lit but the main burners never kick in. This problem just started yesterday the heat has been working fine fro the past couple weeks and it just stopped working yesterday

We have a 20 year old CArrier furnace, Series 100, Model 55DRCO-45CB. It is not heating even though the temperature gauge on the wall is on and set to heat, 70 degrees. We checked the fuse. It's fine. We don't see any pilot light--in fact, we don't even know where to look for the pilot...

We just bought a new house with an electric furnace and the pilot light is out. On top of that, it's the first snow of the season in Colorado so we're cold! The instructions say to turn off the power to the furnace and then turn it back on, but there is no indicatator as to where that power...
