Unpaid restitution for a grand Larsoning charge
My boyfriend when he was 18 broke in a car dealership and was charged with a felony of gran Larsoning. Because he was 18 he spent some time in Juve until he turned 18 an was put on probation, and given a $25,000 restitution to pay. This all happen in VA. He has been paying for 15 years now every month. In may if this year we his child support was raised by 700 dollars and he couldn't pay the restitution. The police picked him up with a warrnet from VA, we live in Maryland. He still owes $4,385 on the restitution. Should he fight extridicition and try to stay in MD? Will they throw him in jail? Please help

He can fight it, he won't win and they have full rights to take him back, but it will keep in where he is for a month or two while he fights it.

He will at some point go back and have a court hearing for violation of his probation for not making payments as required.

They don't care about his other troubles, and will want payments to be made. Most likely they will work out a new payment plan and release him. But fighting going back will not help, just delay getting into court
