    Parent ashes does
My father remarried and past 15 yrs ago. At the time of his passing my sister, brother and I asked his widow wife to allow us to place his ashes in rest, she refused and took him with her. We were unable to locate her for many years, as time passed on - we had heard that she had moved to Florida and placed my father in storage. Well we finally did a research on her and her sibliings and found out that she had passed away last year 2011 and that she had remarried after my fathers passing and her new husband passed 3years later. Well what my daughter and I found out was that in her obutary she went and used my fathers last name (not sure if that is legal). Also my fathers remains are with her daughter, we have been in contact with her from our research and have asked to see him, and offered to pay for his resting. She is being very selfish with my father remains, my family has suffered for many years wanting to know where the whereabouts of their father/grandfather is at. What legal rights do we have? By the way my father was number 13 to her list of husbands on the mantel
