Hi. Last month I was diagnosed with 3 fibroids all out of the uterus. Since there is no pain my ob suggested we started trying for a baby with my husband. My last period was on the 21st of October and we had unprotected sex regularly during my ovulation period which was between 28th of October and 3rd of novenber ( my cicle is 25 days) and I took a pregnancy test today and it came out negative.. How do fibroids affect my chances? Note I feel bloated and my breasts are swollen.

The best person to consult would be your OB. Better than some yahoos on the interweb who, for all you know, could only know what they read on the back of a cereal box. I can get the rabbit to his trix but that doesn't help me here...

From my limited internet research it sounds like that, if you're doctor has cleared you than they shouldn't really interfere with pregnancy.

Also please not that you're not guaranteed to get pregnant on the first shot. So to speak. The could have been fertilization, but if the embryo wasn't viable than it will just be expelled during your period. There could be a lot of reason why the little embryo didn't take. Give it a few more months and keep in contact with your OB.
