    At age 72, regardless of your health issues, you are not going to find anything cheap. I suggest you go on Google, where all plans are outlined and start calling to find out just what is involved with affordable premiums.

    I would suggest entering 'supplemental medical insurance for age 72'. I just did and the information was quite comprehensive.

    This is open enrollment right now. Rates vary by state,

    Most companies will try and sell you the advantage plan which replaces the standard medicare plan

    My opinion of the best company will be United Health Care, and/or the same company but purchased though AARP
