IDK what career! HELLLPPP!! Cunfused college studnt
All right first off thank you for taking the time to read my post and try to help me. All right well I'm 19yrs old and in college and I really want to be a lawyer. I do know how challenging it is and all that but here is my conflict. Well I'm in community college origanally wanting to major in criminal justice because I thought it made sense? Well getting to the other campus were ALL my CJ classes are is not convenient for me at all but that is beside the point so someone planted the idea that I should major in paralegal studies but I want to transfer so if I transfer what will I be majoring in ? Its complicated , I do want to be a lawyer its my dream per se but if I don't make it I do want a career in LAW maybe something close to a lawyer or something cool like forensics to fall back on if my lawyer dream doesn't work out... so if someone can give me advice to what I should major in ? Or some careers that are similar. I always thought it would be cool to be like um a cop or fbi but.. I'm a girl and I'm little like 5'0 and weight 124 and I would feel intimidated but I would love to be like in politics too so as you can see ALL o my choices are with law which I love , which is what always wanted to be in since I was little I went from wanting to be a cop since 5 then wanting to be a detective then forensic then lawyer so if someone can help me? I know I'm scattered all over the place but hey if I can get some kind of advice or guidance it would be greatly appreciated and yeah what should I major in in college? And if I choose paralegal studies what would I do when transferring ? Thankkkk yooouuu

No, you need to take basic classes in English and history and science and psychology and math.

If you want to be a lawyer, you need to know how people think and why they behave the way they do (psychology), you need to know how to write well (English), you need to know how to think (math and history), you need to be disciplined (all subjects), and the law and CJ are the least of your concerns at this stage of your education.

Try Criminology rather than criminal justice. It combines Science and Psychology, along with criminal studies. That will help you with many fields you are interested in.
