    Sewer smell in bathroom
    I smell a faint sewer smell in the bathroom but the toilet works perfectly could it be a failure of the wax ring?

    Quite possible. Pack some wet toilet paper around the base of the toilet/floor joint and see if the smell goes away. If yes, need a new wax ring.
