I have had an ear infection and been on augmenten now for 6 days.. still had the clogged feeling so I went back to be rechecked.. he decided to flush my ear and remove a small piece of wax so he could see better , they used tap water and shot it in my ear about five times and then removed a small amount of wax. The doc said it looked better but still some redness and keep taking the pills. Well I'm worse since the ear wash.. more plugged and bothered with my ear even more now. They said this can happen after the flush and if not better in 48 hrs to call. Do they seem to know what they are doing and is this common.. lim really scared and don't know what to do!

They know what they're doing. Depending on where in your ear the infection is it could take longer to clear. Especially if there is little to no drainage.

Trust in your doctors. Talk to them and make sure you do exactly what they say.
