    Ultrasound??
I recently had an ultrasound. Under the History section it displayed this:
    LMP: 9/9/12
    EDC:6/16/2012
    No. Fetuses 1
    Age 7w 5d

My blood and urine both came back negative, which isn't uncommon for my family, many of the women show up negative and baby is only detected via ultrasound. The ultrasound tech wasn't allowed to give any information due to hospital policy, but does No. Fetuses mean they detected 1 fetus? Or what?

Only one fetus (baby) was detected.

That's also what I thought but when I called my doctor to ask about my ultrasound... The nurse told me that I wasn't pregnant but my pelvic exam was impeccable... So I don't understand, you know?

    Let me break it down.

    LMP: 9/9/12
    = Last menstrual period 9/9/12

    EDC:6/16/2012
= Due date: should be 6/16/13!

    No. Fetuses 1
= 1 baby in the uterus.

    Age 7w 5d
= You are 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

I gathered that much for myself, honestly. But I'm curious how the nurse could have completely missed that, enough to tell me... Over the phone that I am not pregnant!

May I ask why you are using 2 usernames? That is a violation of the site rules.

I'm not, I don't know why it is coming up differently. I'm clicking the link sent via my e-mail. And then replying to your replies.

I didn't create another username. Is what I'm saying. The site did.

Well, I doubt that, but anyway..

It's quite possible she had you mixed up with another patient. Give them a call back.
