    Am I pregnant?
Hey everyone, so my friend n I had sex about a month ago and I've been having weird symptoms since and we are both starting to freak out. We had sex about a week after my period and we were protected for the most part. He didn't in me but maybe Pre-.. Since then I've had terrible stomach aches, headaches, been really tired, either having a really big appetite or no appetite at all, I've been slightly constipated, my boobs hurt, and I can't focus in school. I was suppose to start my period 3 days ago and tonight I came home from school to discover a brownish slimy substance on my underwear. Far from my normal period. Am I pregnant or what's going on?

Send me a jar of your pee, or a vial of blood.

    Yes, I'm being facetious.

Fact is, without your urine or your blood, we can't tell you if you're pregnant. You'll have to do what every other woman on the face of this earth has done, and that's wait, test and see.

As for your last post, it being your first time has no bearing on pregnancy. You can get pregnant your first time, your last time, or even without full penetration. You can get pregnant if you use every form of birth control known to man. So really, that's not info that will help determine anything.

    Good luck.

Don't worry too much. Stress can delay your period too.

If you haven't gotten your period in the next week, two is better, than try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that test is negative than wait until your next period. If you miss it than test again, or see a doctor for a more accurate blood test.

Fact is, if you are pregnant you have options. Many options. If you need help with that, we can give advice. Right now you just have to figure out if you're pregnant, and stop worrying until there's something to worry about. Okay?

All right, how does taking the test in the morning differ if I were to take it at lunch?

The hcg hormone is stronger in the morning, with the first urine. Therefore the test would be more accurate if taken in the morning.

As for an abortion, it depends on your age. If you're legal age than you can get an abortion fairly easily. If you're a minor than you may need parental consent. It really depends on where you live.

There's a huge difference. But really, if you take the test too soon it really doesn't matter.

Bottom line, you have to wait.

The legal age for consent in most of Canada is 16.

Okay, I was looking at different pregnancy tests, n I saw the First Response Early, and it said up to 6 days before your period, and it could be taken anytime in the day. How good is it?

As good as any other test, and not reliable before you miss your period. It's not worth wasting your money on.

If you want to spend the money than go for it. In my experience they're no more reliable than any other test, especially if taken before you miss a period. But go ahead if that's what you choose. I'm giving my opinion, you're the one that has to choose whether to accept my opinion or not. It's up to you.
