Water hammer on a running tub valve
Recently I replaced a hansgroe tub/shower cartridge because the old one just keep on dripping after it was turned off, however now I get hammering when I try to fill the tub, but not when running the shower. Any ideas on a cure?

More details please! Does the sound occur when you turn the water on or when you shut it off? Where does the sound come from? The spout? The valve or the pipes? Just one sound or does it persist? Back to you, Tom
