Furnace fan comes on even when thermostat is set to OFF
Hi, I have a Rheem Classic 90 Plus furnace and it just started acting up. The fan randomly comes on during the day and night even though the thermostat is in the OFF position. Anyone one have any ideas why this is happening and how to fix? This just started happening recently.

    Thank you!

Thermostat turns on furnace and then thermostat shuts back to HOLD [ 7 Answers ]

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.
